Campsite number 8 was amazing! Super private, spacious and with a beautiful view of the lake. You do need to go on a walk to get to the bathrooms, which for us was totally fine. The bathrooms were very well kept and clean.

We chose this spot because we love being on a lake but weren’t amazed by the access from the campground and ended up going to Woahink Lake instead. Beautiful view and nice privacy campsite 8 but probably more ideal for water activities other than swimming, playing with dogs, and sitting lakeside

Great lake & campsite. Campground suffering from no current on site representative. No toilet paper in woman’s 3 days running. No one canvassing to make sure random folks don’t just stay at open sites (which they do). A sizable hole in one site that could lead to injury if not filled. I had the time so picked up candy wrappers a d dog poop while I was there, because I love the place.

Please get an on site supervisor! This is a most splendid campground, excellent swim & boat site that will suffer if left unattended.

The campsite is in a beautiful location. I only gave three stars because there is no campground host, and it felt a bit insecure.

Great site. I have to say the Forest Service Staff is top notch. We had a bit of an issue because I messed up on our reservation. They we helpful and understanding. All worked out.

Hey, we secured #9 and received an email cancelling our reservation: A location closure has been issued for TAHKENITCH LANDING from Wed, May 10, 2023 - Tue, Apr 30, 2024 due to Site Closure .
We then reserved another one...it was a poor choice on our side...
To our surprise, the camping was empty and number 9 was in use.....
I walked thru the campsite and looked at fire hole to see usage & i can tell you that my choice was never used & number 9 had a heavy usage
Try to explain that one to me...

It’s a pretty good campsite, it had a grill for the fire pit which is nice. The bathrooms were pretty far from our site at 8. In ground. Overall good experience, I do think considering the amenities available, it should be a cheaper per night stay. Wasn’t as close to the beach as I had thought but still really cool next to the lake.
