Site # 4 was a perfect spot for levalness, for beauty of the lake, bird watching, and rest! Love the covered picnic table area. Note there are steps to get to picnic table. Close to town, road, bridge but really no noise problem. We love the Waco history and sorry we did not spend more time in the area. The Silos, downtown, the parks, walking, bike paths, are not only clean, safe, but... beautiful with flowers, green grass, and well, just welcoming! The old west history yeilds to more time, and Magnoilias is absolutly a fine place for young and old! Bring your pocketbook as YOU will need something from Waco!

We were disappointed with our return trip here. The grounds were not mowed and the grass was pretty long. We saw snakes. The bathrooms were leaking rain from the sky lights they need maintenance.

Nice park for an overnight on the road. Midway is an attractive park. Our pad was level and the water / electric utilities were in good shape. It's generally quiet, but the calm is interrupted several times a day by the thunderous sound of rocket tests at the Space X facility 15 miles away. I found that interesting, but my wife thought it was very annoying.

This little campground at Lake Waco was quiet, with very little highway noise in slot 13, though it sits close to a major highway. The sites were not sitting on top of each other. Some had covered tables some did not, but it wasn’t something for us to worry about. The restroom/showers were clean and well stocked! There was sewer at a few sites but most did not have any. Dump station and dumpsters were well placed and taken care of. Overall a great experience and we would go back again.

Spacious campsites with easy parallel pull-through sites. Quiet and clean park. Covers weren't up over the picnic table shelters when we visited. We rented a Craigcat at Frank's Marina and had a good afternoon on the lake.

Our first COE stay, and all was well. Easy access. Never used the dump station, but it looked easily accessible. Bring a boat - the lake looked very inviting, but we had no way to enjoy it other than gazing at it.
