All though it rained all weekend we enjoyed the stay. Very nice park with large trees and plenty if space. We have a large 5th wheel so lot 21was not ideal (site not level) and steep. We made it work so overall a great stay!

The campground is quiet with lots of trees and a friendly staff. The sites are fairly level and are very long for campers, boats and cars. Some sites have a pavilion over the picnic table, a grill and a fire pit. The lake was really only accessible by boat but that's ok as I was there for other reasons. Verizon service was ok and I was able to stream YouTube but did not try to do much more. About 17 minutes to downtown and there is a mall and lots of restaurants close by. Highly recommend and I will be back.

Campground itself is very nice. Shady spots are good for summer. Access to lake and to surrounding cities is very good.

We love Midway for the location. It is close to family and easy access to downtown. What is distressing to us is the fact that it is not kept up. The park had obviously not been mowed for months. The grass was over a foot high making it very difficult to hook up water and sewer. We can’t understand why they have let this park go downhill. The gravel area with the picnic table was overrun with weeds, and the fire pit was upside down and unusable. Very sad.

We stayed in a tent at Midway Park spot 25 and didn't realize that the area where we set up our tent was covered in poison ivy. Needless to say we had to get a steroid shot, antibiotics, and creme for the numerous red spots all over our bodies. Also the restrooms were not kept clean over the weekend and no toilet paper replace. Otherwise the camp was fine.

The bathrooms aren’t cleaned well. No toilet. Bathroom roof leaks when it rains. Some of the picnic tables didn’t have covers. Can’t leave or come back after ten pm. They should issue access card system to get in an out of property after 10pm.
Can’t swim at water edge. Don’t waste your time or money. Airport beach has a nice cove to swim in with warm water.
The positive about midway is that they have a lot of firefly’s at night above boat ramp.
