I pulled in after dark, and left early the next morning. Very pretty lake, but too cold to enjoy much of it other than looking out my window. The site I stayed at was level, the utilities worked, and the shower and restroom were clean. The camp host came out and gave me a friendly greeting when I walked up to the entrance to see if there was an after hours check in. Overall it was a good experience. Not sure I'll pass this way again, but if I do I would certainly stay here again.

I have been to this camp ground several times. It is very well maintained and pet friendly. The grandkids loved the little play ground. They even have a campsite for large parties.

The park is very small and close to a busy road. If you can get a spot next to the lake you will have good views but still will be able to hear lots of road noise. Some of the spots near the road have full hookups. The restrooms needed attention. One shower head was off the wall. There was no soap at the sinks. We were there while it was cold and the restrooms are not heated. No hiking or biking trails. This park might be good if you are stopping overnight or a couple of days.

We love this park. It is always clean and fairly quite. Most sites are fairly level. We will be back

This park used to be great but in the last year it has gone down hill. The sites are not kept clean and mowed. They are overrun with weeds and ants but the sites are large and have a sheltered picnic table. The women at check in are friendly and helpful and location is close to everything in Waco.

Best showers we have encountered at a campsite! We only spent one night here but it was a quiet campground that was lovely on the water with wonderfully clean and warm/hot showers. Would stay here anytime passing through Waco!

Nice large site with fhu. Had good AT&T and Verizon cell service. Stayed in a 43' class A motorhome with a toad. All fit on site.

This was not the first time we have stayed at Midway, and not likely the last. We stayed in site 22 this time with FHU which is more inside the park with much less road noise. The staff as always is so friendly and helpful. Waco lake is awesome with stunning sunsets. If you are in the mood for pizza, we suggest SLO Rise. Their pizza is authentic and they have two locations in and around Waco.
