There were people playing music and laughing loud until 3 am. There were no rangers near by to monitor activities. Would not recommend

Campground was very nice. Bathrooms could be better maintained. Road noise for those staying in the big motorhome/50 amp area is pretty significant, but that is nothing they can control...just be aware that it is not peacefully nestled out in the woods. Very friendly staff!

This was a great place to stay. Get a spot deeper in the campground if don't want to be bothered by the highway noise. Showers and toilets were in working order. You'll need shower shoes for the showers. Staff was friendly and courteous.

The park was very clean and well kept. The sites were spacious and easy to back into.
We found the staff helpful and friendly. The only drawback to the park is that it is close to Hwy 6, so there is road noise. But this also means it is easy to get to and it is close in to Waco for other recreation/tourist activities.

We had one of the first sites when you pull in. I picked it because it was by the lake. Very nice site but you do run into hearing/seeing the vehicles coming in and out and also the noise from Hwy 6. The park was clean and the employees were friendly. If we stay here again we’ll look for something a little further in.

Well the squirrels did me in. Chewed holes in 3 water hoses. 1st time in 3 years full timing I had to deal with that issue. One of the gate staff was less than pleasant. Sad that the ACOE have contracted the grass cutting out. The grass/weeds were knee deep right outside of my door. Was told they cut 1x per month!! That’s a bit long. There were also many dead cedar/evergreen trees that were dead so the needles were everywhere!! Bathrooms were not clean and were dark and gloomy.
