We love this small park. Staff is very welcoming and very hospitable. Only issue is the sewer is too far back from the other hook-ups. Still, we love to stay here. Nicely groomed.

The tent camping at Midway Park COE Campground was awesome. We'll awesome is a little strong; more like acceptable. The tent sites are WAY too close to Hwy 6...diesel trucks and loud Mustangs all night long. The camp host was frickin awesome and I don't understand why anyone would have a reason to complain aside from maybe they being in error about some of the polices. My real reason for giving a fair rating is my difficulty with the online reservation through recreation.gov. Their website needs an overhaul. If you select the site and for any reason don't finish your reservation all in one shot it will show that site as no longer available. That is genuinely stupid. Just sayin.

The beautiful double-occupancy site, is very level, with huge pecan trees, and overlooks Lake Waco.

We enjoyed our stay at Midway while visiting friends in Waco. Beautiful, clean park with full hookups for our 5th wheel. We will stay again!

Was a wonderful spot to camp.
The water level was really low in the lake. So, we didn't go fishing this time around.
Nice evening was great to walk around the whole park and just enjoy the night air.
They have shower house and dump station too.
Will return when passing through.
Thanks Midway!

Campsites were well maintained. Bathrooms were clean. The boat ramps leave a little to be desired but the lake is really low so I can't really put that on the park. Overall a great experience!

The view was fantastic!!
Our site was clean. The lady at the gate was very friendly!
And, so glad there’s no more burn ban, we got to finally have campfires!

We got a double site it did not have a top on the canopy over the tables, the grass had not been mowed and was so tall and thick, the electric out was bad and we almost lost our dog and cockatoo. Power went off while we were out fishing because it was bad. No water pressure. O grate on the bar n que grill. Very disappointed
