This is a really pleasant campground. The host are very friendly and helpful. We were away from our camper when a surprise storm came up. A host/neighbor grabbed a rope and tied our awning down so it wouldn’t be damaged in the winds.

We stayed 3 nights. Quiet and peaceful place to visit. The staff were nice and helpful. We loved watching the deer and fawns each day near our site.

Stayed in site #2, arrived late and the host graciously explained the office would open at 10 am so that we could get our passes. The place was very clean and quiet. The view of Waco Lake was beautiful. Highly recommend this park

Campsites 6, 7, & 8, are extremely close. There was a loud party across the road from us, cars parked everywhere, and very loud music. The campsite was very clean and raked.

Nice place! It would be fabulous is the other RV spots had 50amp service. We were limited to only a few spots due to electric power restrictions.
The host was extremely nice.
All in all we enjoyed our stay

At the gate it says, "If we're not here, proceed to your site and check in in the morning" which seems very reasonable. However, the reality is that if you arrive late, the gate is locked, and no one has the code, and you will be forced to boondock on private property or along a busy highway until they decide to open the gate in the morning.
Seems like there is a better way to serve guests than turning them away because they arrived past an arbitrary time. No info provided on Recreation.gov about a late arrival procedure. Gate code could have easily been shared via email for late arrivals.
