Beautiful setting and camping area overlooking Lake Waco. The peacefulness of the setting was diminished by the constant noise from the nearby highway - probably not a big deal for folks with a camper or RV, but for tent camping the noise was distracting.

We stayed at Midway to be close to the “ Silos” in Waco. The individual sites, for the most part, are easy to level out and paved. Full hookups worked well. The Restrooms/ Showers facilities were very unclean and definitely need work. All in, we’d stay again, but plan on not using the restrooms, as it’s well within the range of an Uber to Waco .

From I-35, take the exit for Hwy 6 N toward Meridian (330B) for about 5 miles. Immediately before crossing the lake, exit right at Midway Park Exit. At the exit, drive under the bridge and the park is a quarter-mile down the east-bound service road.
