Stay was great as usual but the park is getting rundown and needs to be cleaned up and demolished buildings cleaned up.

Overall very nice park. The lake views are great. Only downside was the bathrooms/showers, cleaned only every other day. Not sure they were cleaned that often.

Camp host was very informative and a pleasure at check in. Park itself was terrible. Tree branch’s were in need of cutting. Hit the top of camper on departure. Very loud due to highway noise. The bathrooms never worked during the time there. Park itself looked very nice!

Great place for a 2-3 day stop, but the branch’s were too low getting out of site 31 and they hit the top of camper. These should be trimmed! Lady at gate was very nice and informative!

Families having fun. Just what our public parks are for. Close to Waco for any tourist stuff but still nice and quiet. COE are the best!

From I-35, take the exit for Hwy 6 N toward Meridian (330B) for about 5 miles. Immediately before crossing the lake, exit right at Midway Park Exit. At the exit, drive under the bridge and the park is a quarter-mile down the east-bound service road.

Camping equipment is limited to one RV/Trailer and up to two tents per site or a total of three tents. |

Small swimming pools are permitted in the parks. Swimming pools may not exceed a water depth of 5 inches, height of 7 inches, width of 36 inches, and length of 36 inches. Swimming pools must be moved to a new location each day to prevent damage to the ground surface.
