Cougar Rock Campground offers spacious, clean sites with good privacy and easy access to Mount Rainier trails, making it an ideal base for outdoor enthusiasts. The bathrooms are well-maintained, although some reviewers noted a lack of warm water and soap. It was a very nice campground and each site was unique. My only advice to bring large containers of water to avoid multiple trips to the single water source near restroom. Nice and quiet and nice shade after a long day of hiking in the sun. Can't wait to go back! Also the flush toilets and bathrooms were very clean.

Very pleasant experience. The rangers were happy to help. Every campsite has ample shade. Hardly any insects / mosquitoes mid summer.

Great location for RV campground close to Paradise & Longmire. We spent 4 days and hiked to see many beautiful waterfalls with beautiful weather. Mountain was visible every day. Staffing in the area is an issue like everywhere else but they did a great job in town. Example: Gift shop in Paradise Inn was closed Tuesday & Wednesday due to staffing issues and dining at the Paradise Inn was limited. Roads are narrow and winding thru the park... just have to take your time.
Many camping sites are not level so be prepared. Camp rangers were very friendly and park was well taken care of. We would definitely camp here again.
There is ZERO cellular signal at the campground. Nearest signal is in Paradise and limited spotty signal in Longmire.

Great location and close proximity to a number of hiking trails! There are some campsites better that others. We had B 031 and the car parking spot was super uneven so we had to use blocks to even it out. There was a spot across from us that was reserved for several days but no one showed up until our last day. I wished we could have parked there as the driveway way super flat. It would bd great to know if a slot wasn’t going to be used. The cost us very reasonable so , I suspect the campsites reserved but unused were under utilized. I loved the experience though!!

Great place close to Mount Rainier!
We were lucky on getting a FF-site.
It was a little tilted but with a great fireplace. Bring your own firewood: is not for sale on the campgrounds and the nearest store is a rip-off.
To bad the dump station was out of order.

Mt Rainier wildflowers were spectacular. We heard (but didnt see) the glaciers creaking and groaning. Wonderful national park to visit!
