Cougar Rock Campground offers spacious, clean sites with good privacy and easy access to Mount Rainier trails, making it an ideal base for outdoor enthusiasts. Wow, we were blown away by this site. It was fantastic and we’re from Vancouver Island so we’ve camped a bunch. Huge sites, incredibly clean, absolutely silent, trees provide privacy, clean facilities, toilets, changing table, and sinks. There was a water refilling area at the restroom and each site has its own bear cache. The check in and check out were easy. Pretty great start to a road trip!

Horrible. No staff at desk, no fires allowed (even though people were having fires next to us), unclean bathrooms.

Very nice ranger at check-in. The amenities are very basic however as you might expect. The bathrooms, while clean, are desperately in need for a major upgrade. America has the best national parks, but we need to invest in the infrastructure and ongoing upkeep. The huckleberries are ripe and we did lots of bike riding in the campground loops - perfect for a 5 year old!!

The Campground was way more private than expected! Sites were spaced apart, staggered, and surrounded by trees. Plentiful and abundance access to potable water. The bathrooms were some of the nicest at a Campground. Quiet and clean. 100% reccomend.

Great spot. Easy to get to the restroom and water. If the closest bathroom is full, go down a ways and find the 2nd one. It has 2 stalls instead of the 1
All in all, we had a good time. Its close to paradise and food at longmire

The picnic table and tent site at E008 were separated, which was nice, but the site itself was a bit small. The restrooms were well maintained and very clean, and overall the campground was extremely quiet.

Nice shady campground, mix of small and larger sites. Clean bathrooms and very handy water bottle filler.
