What Guests Are Saying
Lower Falls Campground features spacious, well-maintained campsites with ample shade and beautiful riverside views, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers. The breathtaking nearby waterfalls and numerous hiking trails enhance the camping experience, although the campground lacks adequate water stations and has issues with cleanliness in the bathrooms. Overall, visitors appreciate the serene environment, helpful camp hosts, and the opportunity to disconnect from technology in a picturesque setting.

This was a clean, friendly, and quiet experience exactly as we were looking for. The scenery is brilliant and we can’t wait to come back!

The organization and cleanliness of this campground are very much appreciated. In a time when so many places seem overrun and way-too-loud, what a treat it is to escape here. I also very much appreciate the daily caps on day-use camping, but perhaps would like a little more obvious forewarning that a day-use pass is also required for campers: on our last day with were S.O.L which was a major, major huge bummer, considering we missed the first daytime day of our reservation due to later arrival.

Wonderful experience. Nice size camp ground and space provided. Restrooms located through out the grounds. Would recommend to everyone! Stairs down to water for those needing them.

We camp here one a year. We loved our campsite this year. It was large site and tree covered. It also has 2 tables on site. One of them was missing a bench on one side. That table was perfect for staging and cooking leaving the other table for relaxing and eating. See you next year

After a few days of rain at our other campsite we arrived here on a sunny beautiful day. The campsites were big and well spaced and the short hike to the falls was absolutely awesome. The facilities and trail were well maintained.

Bring ear plugs with you if you expect to get any sleep. We had neighbors who talked loudly well into the early hours of the next morning. Why did I need to print my reservation? No campground official ever bothered to check if we really paid for the privilege of camping at this campground. A large party on the other side of us just trashed the outhouse...they smoked in there, unrolled the TP onto the floor, and tore the deodorizer off the wall each day a new one was placed in the structure. Why is it that bums feel entitled to display such poor behavior in a National Forest Campground? The Lower Falls Campground is really a beautiful site. It's a shame people who do not comprehend the concept of civility can't find some other place to display their poor behavior.
