What Guests Are Saying
Lake Mary Campground offers beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and friendly hosts, making it a great option for outdoor enthusiasts. Many visitors enjoyed activities like canoeing and stargazing, and appreciated the presence of flush toilets and paved trails. However, some sites are cramped and bear activity can be a concern, so visitors are advised to secure food properly and consider the site's layout before booking.

It’s so peaceful and the lake at night looks amazing when the moon is shining on it. Bathrooms were clean and the staff were very polite.

The hosts were nice and kept the place very clean. Some of the campsites are small, so be sure to look at pictures when choosing a site. Also, lots of watercraft down by the lakeshore, so it can be difficult to get to the shore to fish or look at the lake. Some campers don't like you standing next to their kayak. :-( It can be a bit noisy, but it quiets down around 10pm.

Please note that some of the sites (46,47,48) you need to walk up to. These sites had great views but you have to walk up and down hill to unload/load and every time you go to your car. There are also a few sites (49,50,51) where you are closely situated to the one next to you and can be terrible when you have a loud neighbor or one with dogs.

Great stay at Lake Mary campground. Didn’t catch any fish, but had fun trying! Excellent camp hosts down by the lake. Super friendly and helpful. The bathrooms for the campsites down by the lake were nice and clean-very impressed!

The campground hosts were very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were extremely clean and pleasant – I wish this was the standard everywhere.

This is a very busy campground. The hosts are excellent and the facility is clean. Plenty of water available and lots to do. The problem these days for this campground is that since covid there seems to be a new type of camper that didn't grow up camping. So they don't care much about camping etiquette. They have a lot of people in their site so they tend to be very loud. Some play their music very loud so the rest of the campsite has to listen to it. A lot of cursing and barking dogs. Frustrating if you go camping for peace and quiet. I would not go back if I can go to another site. Its a shame because its beautiful.
