Lodgepole is a great campground. Awesome location, and plenty of room in our site (152). I docked 2 stars because of the bathrooms. Absolutely disgusting. Toilets didn't flush well, toilet paper all over the floor, trash cans overflowing. I know you are camping, but it was beyond disgusting. I dreaded having to use the restroom at any time. They seemed like they were never cleaned once in the 4 days we were there. If the restrooms weren't an issue, I would've given 5 stars.

This campsite had plenty of space for x2 4 person cabin tents, with plenty of space for two more 2 person tents. Close to the amenities and restrooms. Did get sunny near the picnic table and bear locker area but ample of space to move around and get comfortable . Will def book this site again.

Beautiful camp! The staff was super nice and helpful and the place is in the middle of breathtaking beauty with a fall right next to it. It’s far enough from the Lodgepole Center which makes it super peaceful and close enough for whatever you need. The showers and toilets were not the cleanest but it was also high season… 🥴

Very nice campsite close to the parking space but elevated. One of my favorites. Loved the stores in the park.

We loved the campground because it was clean, quiet, and conveniently located near all the amenities. The spots were mostly flat and big enough for one vehicle. Showers are OK, convenience store is well equipped,

Perfect spot!! Shade and sunny. Near the river and restrooms. We’ve stayed in a few spots on this same campground and this is the best so far.

Spectacular campground! It feels private and spacious because it sits along the river with only one immediate neighbor (to the right). The beautiful hillside view and shade make it enjoyable at all hours, and it is centrally located by trailheads and bathrooms. I will definitely return to 097!

Love this campground. It is centrally located in Sequoia National Park. A short distance to the museum and main points of interest. It also has the start of the waterfall trailhead right in the middle of the campground. It also has a very nice market and visitor center at the campground in addition to shuttle stop. Highly recommend staying here if visiting Sequoia National Park

Lodgepole has become our family summer destination. This was our 3rd year and it never ceases to amaze us. We absolutely love it there. Giant Trees, Morro Rocks and Tunnel rock are within reach. My greatest appreciation for all the Rangers who are diligently on top of our safety and the preservation of our beautiful national park!

Dangerous Rivers! Many drowning victims were playing near rivers. Rivers present a far greater danger than lakes or pools. Surfaces may look calm, but strong currents often run below. Be cautious walking near rivers as rocks can be slippery. Getting out of a cold, swift river is often impossible.
