Great campground, great staff, and mostly great facilities. (As usual though, bathrooms could do with a little more upkeep).

We loved staying at this campground - it was very quiet, got cool at night, had plenty of space on our site in particular, and the access to nearby trails was great. It was also nice to cool off by the creek after a long hike. If we ever get back to Sequoia, we will definitely stay here again.

We were so spoiled with this campsite. This was our first time at Sequoia and we got so lucky to get this campsite. It feels secluded, but is close to the market, visitor center, and shuttle stop. It is also near some of the main attractions of Sequoia and other amazing trails! We are already planning our trip back and will only stay at Lodgepole!

Lodgepole campsite have a very convenient location with market/gift shop, showers, grill and laundry around, It is very spacious, clean and has a beautiful view of the stars when it gets dark, the river it's right next to it and you can heard the relaxing water while sleeping. "Tokopah Falls Trail is just a few steps away from the Lodgepole Campground — you really can’t miss it!"
I highly recommend this campsite 💕

I can’t say enough good things about Lodgepole! All the rangers were so friendly! The campground itself is absolutely amazing, bathrooms clean, showers clean. The bear boxes are a great size. I fit my 52QT Rtic cooler and could have fit another one easily and still had extra space! Remember water shoes!

One of my favorite campgrounds we've ever stayed at. Bathrooms were clean, sites were often shaded, and there was plenty of privacy. The proximity of the river and some fantastic hiking trails was perfect. It was also convenient to have a marketplace and various food options nearby. What an incredibly beautiful area and a fantastic place to pitch a tent!

Campground was nice. However, the campground bathroom floors were disgusting the entire 4 days we were there.
Water coming from water spigots was brown and non-drinkable.

Awesome campground. Very large food containers to keep out the bears. We had great neighbors and the tent area was perfectly level.

Love Lodgepole! You can hang out at the campground and still do so much! A beautiful river, a great market, cafe, showers and free shuttle! Many trails right from the campground.

Dangerous Rivers! Many drowning victims were playing near rivers. Rivers present a far greater danger than lakes or pools. Surfaces may look calm, but strong currents often run below. Be cautious walking near rivers as rocks can be slippery. Getting out of a cold, swift river is often impossible.
