While we received many messages for availability. it was IMPOSSIBLE to get even one day. We have never missed a year with our family and friends in over 40 years. I know there was only half sites available. The option was basically unavailable. Lots of options but immediate response did not work for thousands of campers

Camp site 82 was perfect. Nice shed almost all day and still very open. Neighbor 81 was a friendly young couple with a very lovable 11 month baby… all the way from Netherlands. That was a pleasant experience since our own grandchildren are all adults now.
We both are in our eighties so it is somewhat difficult now. but we made it to the Vernon footbridge. We used to hike to Nevada falls every year. But we let go that since last year. The bus rides are wonderful and awe inspiring “Spirit of Yosemite” is wonderful to watch at the theater. All over a spiritual experience.

The grounds were clean and well kept. Sites are very close to each other which is to be expected in a busy location like Yosemite. There were a lot of empty sites near us which was great but it was very difficult to reserve a spot because everything was booked. It seems many people book sites and don’t show up

Very well kept camp ground in such a beautiful place!! Great space at every campsite with plenty of bathrooms and trash access. Probably one of the most accessible national park campgrounds I have been too.
