What Guests Are Saying
Gore Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful setting near the creek, providing a peaceful and private atmosphere with well-maintained facilities, including exceptionally clean bathrooms. Many guests appreciate the convenient access to Vail and nearby hiking and biking trails. However, some reviewers noted issues with noise from I-70 and the lack of water and campfires, alongside occasional challenges with campground management and site reservations. Overall, it remains a popular choice for campers seeking a serene experience close to outdoor activities.

Incredible scenery and experience.
I went for a few days with girlfriend for our anniversary. The site was easy to find and check into and the bathrooms were very clean. Staff (just one guy from what we saw) is polite helpful and unobtrusive. Plus the stars on our final night there were absolutely incredible!
Great experience. We will come again :)

Great campground! My favorite part was being able to watch the rafters go by in the creek.

Love this location and the cleanliness of the bathrooms. The river noise is soothing and I enjoy the beauty that surrounds you. Loved that you can hike Deluge Lake right next door.

Really nice spot. While you do have to “walk-in” a bit there is a nice little path. We had to take a couple trips but the privacy and nature are worth it!
We stayed at the end of July and it was full of green, leaves, and flowers. There wasn’t any rain so we were able sleep without the rain cover and there were so many stars, and could even see the Milky Way.
Also, pretty good cell/data signal if that’s a thing you need.

Beautiful campground by the creek. Big sites, clean toilets, friendly host. Programming for kids on Saturday nights, 15 min drive to Vail. Right beside entrance to Vail Pass paved cycling trail. Note, no water. Loved it!

The campground and bathrooms are so clean! Gore Creek is stunning and the camp host is one of the nicest we’ve met on our journey thus far. Amazing experience all around!

Very quiet, sites well separated and bathrooms clean. A couple of trails lead right from campground area as well as a bike trail up and over Vail pass.
