What Guests Are Saying
Gore Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful setting near the creek, providing a peaceful and private atmosphere with well-maintained facilities, including exceptionally clean bathrooms. Many guests appreciate the convenient access to Vail and nearby hiking and biking trails. However, some reviewers noted issues with noise from I-70 and the lack of water and campfires, alongside occasional challenges with campground management and site reservations. Overall, it remains a popular choice for campers seeking a serene experience close to outdoor activities.

The campground was very clean and the campground host was nice. The campground itself is beautiful.

Wonderful campground; very clean and spacious. The creekside location is beautiful. We had campsite 14, which we highly recommend and was just above the creek.

Nice campground spot 16 was close to the creek. Close to hiking and fishing. Vail near by.

Nice site, surrounded by trees, nice tent pad, has food locker, have to walk a bit from tent site. Site 20 is higher elevation, if you like that.

Enjoyed walking down by Gore Creek and in early June it is flowing pretty good from snow melt. Site was easy to back into and was pretty level, also close to everything around Vail

This was our first time camping in Colorado and I'm glad we choose Gore Creek. Host was great, my kids loved her. Bathrooms were clean, our space was well taken care of. There is no running water other than the river so bring plenty. We had all kinds of weather sunny, cold, cloudy, windy a little rain just come prepared. There is a couple trails within walking distance. Definitely going back there next yr.

The campground was great and so was the campground host. I just wish I had known there was no water at the campground ! Luckily the store wasn't too far so we were able to get water (at a absurd Vail prices) but other than that minor hiccup it was a great experience.
It was quiet, no noisy campers. We were away from the creek but it was still a great experience
