What Guests Are Saying
Gore Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful setting near the creek, providing a peaceful and private atmosphere with well-maintained facilities, including exceptionally clean bathrooms. Many guests appreciate the convenient access to Vail and nearby hiking and biking trails. However, some reviewers noted issues with noise from I-70 and the lack of water and campfires, alongside occasional challenges with campground management and site reservations. Overall, it remains a popular choice for campers seeking a serene experience close to outdoor activities.

Wonderful campground. The walk-in sites are up a hill, so loading in and out our car camping setup took a little longer than normal, but we enjoyed the privacy of those sites and the great view of the night sky. Campground host gave helpful information about short toddler-friendly hikes from the campground and ways to access the creek from the campground. Very clean and well-maintained facilities.

Loved our site. Very secluded and above the creek. Hearing the water roar with our windows open was so peaceful. No fishing on the creek near campsite unfortunately but fishing and a great dog park less than a mile away.

Gorgeous location, shady campground and so amazing next to the creek. It seems like most sites are in shade and are spaced part very generously. Our host was the nicest person and the facilaities were perfectly clean. We are definitely coming back.

The campsite was well maintained and comfortable. Wildflowers were abundant during our stay in early July. We will definitely be back!

Great location. Great manager. Other than no potable water . . . . a great place!
