The bathrooms are always so clean, I really appreciate that. They should really grade the road, especially up to tent camping. I've been dodging the same giant potholes and washboards for like 10 years now.

A yearly tradition! Unfortunately our name did not make it to our campsite and the site was sold to another traveler. The host , Joe was able rectify it quickly.

Small, very, very clean campground. Large sites. Access to Gore Creek Trail and other hiking trails is awesome. We will be back! There was cell service with Verizon.

We reserved site 8 and ended up having to move to site 7 as we couldn't get our 26 ft class c RV even close to level. The site was great, very private, however very unlevel front to back. The parking area could use new gravel. That said, the campground was fantastic. The river/falls are spectacular. I think site 13 would be the best. Host was very friendly and bathrooms were really clean.

Campground was easy to get to, bathrooms were clean, sites were spaced out enough, we were in a site near the water so it drowned out any noise from those around us.

No camp host. First time that’s ever happened. Had a couple of guys pull in at midnight and where partying and walking through our/people’s sites. We love Gore creek and have stayed multiple times. Not sure we will go back now

Getting There
Travel east on I-70 to Exit 180 for East Vail. Turn right and follow the south frontage road (Bighorn Road) east to the road closure gate at about 2 mi. The campground is on the left just before the gate.
