Beautiful campsite in a beautiful park. Bathroom areas were clean and campground seemed well maintained. My only criticism is the small sites and the weird layout of some of them. Be very selective and scrutinize the photos well when booking so you know what you're getting. Some sites are setup for parking along side of the site, with a small stone wall separating the site from the road, leaving a parking space that's not much good for anything bigger than a compact pickup truck.

This is a great campground with running water in the restrooms, shady campground spots and the dunes are amazing! Great time!

Pinon Flats is one of my favorite campsites and one I have stayed at a couple of times earch year over the past couple of years. It's generally quite, especially when the RVers have their batteries charged up (I'm a tent camper). Most sites I have stayed in are well shaded and many have nice views of the dunes. Night skies are awesome on moonless nights.

Loved this location. With it at the end of the loop, we felt like we had space and great views! We enjoyed a family of deer that walked right through our site in the morning. We did have a particularly windy night and felt like our proximity to the edge led to more wind than other sites further inside the loop.

Loop 2, site 66 - great views from this site! Site was spacious and level, facilities good with a sink for washing dishes, no showers. We have a rooftop tent and this was a good site for it. A family of mule deer visited the campground in the am taking advantage of the foilage.

Fun place to stay! Very busy, but the site was nice, the campsite was quiet, and the hosts were very on top of things!
