Perfect spot above Ouray, CO. While the campsite is spectacular, the camp host was even better. Fantastic personality and seemed to really care that we were staying there.

Absolutely stunning campground. Many great (albeit difficult) hikes nearby. The camp host Steve is amazing. Full of knowledge and clearly passionate about the area. The sites were extremely well maintained. Probably the best I have ever seen.

The site had a large and flat tent platform, which we appreciated. There was also a nice overlook of Ouray within walking distance.

Great location to camp to access Ouray. One sort of gross thing that brought this down from 5 stars is that over the course of our 3-day stay, we constantly got whiffs of port-a-potty/sewage at our camp spot and within the campground.

Sites were well laid out. Campsite was nice. Close to Million Dollar Highway, Box Canyon Falls and of course Ouray.
