My friends and I went and everyone around us was told to “watch out” for us and to call the cops if we made any noise after 10pm. We were much quieter than everyone else around us (who played music till 2am). Our campsite neighbor also would not leave us alone and made us very uncomfortable. The campsite is okay, but you can hear highway traffic all night. Overall, not a good experience for me and we were not treated with respect

One of the most breath-takingly beautiful sites I've been at. Stunning views, sites that are nicely landscaped and oriented for privacy and views, and near to everything.

The campground host is very helpful and nice. The campground was clean and far enough from people to feel a bit isolated.

Site 60 is okay, but we wouldn't pick it again. It is not flat even for a small Van, can't imagine trying to level a longer trailer. You are very close (visually) to the spots on each side. The campground host tried to tell our neighbors to put out a campfire before they left, however he never came back to check on it. I put it out.

Getting There
From I-70, take Frisco exit to 203. Turn left onto the Dillon Dam Road.
Travel northeast for 1 mi. The campground will be on the right hand side
of the road.

Heaton Bay is accessible via I-70, with the Frisco exit leading to Dillon Dam Road, which is approximately 1 mile from the interstate.
