Great place that is very close to all the goods that are found in AVL and surrounding area. However, there should be a ban on smoking cogs in campsites as not everyone wants to smell that crap while camping. Especially around children! It’s annoying!

Campground is well located to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Camp site is large with tree cover and has asphalt vehicle and RV parking area. Stayed in Site 36A in a 40-foot fifth wheel.

I went June 2 2024. It was not very full. It was very wet everywhere like a tropical rain forest including the very large picnic table. There was no grass on my site. There were paths to the bathroom directly from my campsite and all other campsites in our circle but it was not marked so on the attempted return to my campsite at night after using the bathroom, I got turned around and lost and couldn't find my campsite without walking all the way around the circle road. A small post or sign indicating which path goes to which campsite would be helpful. Overall it was quiet and I would visit again.

Bathrooms and showers need work. It was otherwise a nice stay.

Great campground. Large spaces and private. Only complaint were the showers. The water trickled (and that's being nice) out of the shower head. Otherwise it was a great stay. Make sure you check if your site has water if not fill the tank up first.

The campground was very busy and the hosts did a great job trying to keep up with the facilities.
