Our favorite RV campground! The tree canopy if beautiful. The entire experience leaves us happy and always at peace.

One of the best campgrounds we've stayed at! Bathrooms/showers were clean and convenient. Lots of hiking, fishing, and swimming opportunities in the area. This is arguably the best site at the campground - very spacious, private, and with a great view.

We’ve thoroughly enjoyed previous stays in this camp ground. This stay was definitely not enjoyable. The camp host let their dogs run off leash during our entire stay, and seemed to have a strange avoidance to wearing shirts. The bathrooms were dirty and one door wouldn’t lock. I went to a different bathroom on the same loop and it was like walking into a haunted house. There were spider webs and very large spiders everywhere. One was in the toilet tissue holder and another in the sink and toilet bowl. These were massive spiders. I am an avid camper and know that “communing with nature” often results in meeting all sorts of creatures. The bathroom obviously hadn’t been swept out in a while though.
The front gate staff were welcoming and kind as always.

Restrooms and showers were kept clean and stocked daily. They’re strict about items being in the bear containers. The sites are immaculate and neighbors are polite. Surrounded by amazing bike and hike trails.

Swim Beach was not something I would go here for, the water is stagnant and dirty, and the water is so hot at the campground bathroom we cannot even take a bath, I mentioned that at the gate to fix but it was not, apparently they want people in and out fast .
Overall my experience with the USFS sites is not that great, they are not very well maintained like the state park.

Nice campground in a beautiful setting. Great place to unplug and enjoy nature. The lake, streams, walking trails, and mountain vistas make you feel like you’re miles away from everything even though you’re near the conveniences of the city. My husband is an avid fly fisherman and caught native trout in the little stream near our campsite.
Campsites offer the basics including bear boxes. Bath house is adequate. Campground staff are helpful and friendly. During our stay, other campers were considerate and followed campground rules.
