Such a fantastic state park. Nice and private campsites plus close to lake which has a fantastic beach with swimming. Highly recommend!

Staff were nice, helpful and welcoming. Sites were spread out nicely so you have privacy. We enjoyed our stay and plan to go back soon! We stayed on loop Big John.

One of the campsites that are at the top of our list to go to. The place is immaculate and quiet, and they have the friendliest staff. The bathrooms are always clean and smell good. The area is safe and relaxing.

As in the past the issues are unchanged, shower water pressure is less than poor and camp sites need new gravel. Gravel will always be an issue unless gravel is applied annually or RVs and campers are banned from tent camping sites. Those large vehicles grind the gravel into the soil till the site becomes muddy.
