The staff were awesome! It's a very quiet place. The "lake" is a pond but a nice little spot. The draw is the mountain bike trails. It's surrounded by miles of riding!

What a sweet spot with easy access to all the amazing things Asheville has to offer: Art, great food, cozy coffee shops, mountain biking and gardens!
I had site 26 which was perfect to pull in, with a tree and pole providing a nice hammock location. I will be back.

Very quiet, good amount of campsite room. I was in 52 which was closer to the lake. Will camp at again.

Nice place. Bathrooms were always clean, plenty for us to do. I like the smaller lake. The walk to the arboretum was challenging enough but easy enough for kids.
Guests seemed respectful - but we noticed a different crowd coming in on weekend. We would avoid staying here on the weekend.

as mentioned in other reviews, the bathrooms/showers were squeeky clean. they were small and only 2 of each for a fairly large campground. Not sure what they would be like with a full camp ground with mostly tenters lots of great hiking bike trails nearby, and the NC Arboretum is around the corner, very interesting. Had a great time and will be back again!

Bathroom & shower hard to find at night, not on e map. Shower inadequate with push button spicket and auto shut off and hard water stream . Cold water, not hot. No place for hanging clothes, towels, or sitting. Heater that doesn’t turn off or have variable temp.
Our site advertised as with a lake view but no view.
