I love this campground. It’s so clean, spacious, and peaceful. I’ve seen here several times, with my dog, and this time I met up with some other family members and they enjoyed it as well. It was so nice coming back at the end of a long day to be able to stretch out, relax, and enjoy each other’s company. This trip we went to the Arboretum and Dupont recreation area. I highly recommend both.

Powhatan is a favorite campground for me because the maintenance of the sites and bathrooms is excellent. Rangers and camp hosts are readily available, and rangers periodically ride around the sites to make sure everything is okay and to answer any questions.
