I was in spot 26 it was just a pull in. No area for a tent but lucky I was in a trailer.
Super small area.
Pics show a back in spot but that is not this site

definitely the most scenic place to camp in the park. also cooler than spots down in lower elevations. follow bear protocol as they are definitely in the area.

The park ranger here is on a major power trip.
Ended up with an almost $500 ticket for my dog being off his leash, briefly. Twice.
I pick up every piece of trash I see on trails, have contributed to state and national parks my entire life and generally try to be a non-nuisance. This guy was none too pleased to chase me off.

This is an unbelievable canyon/amphitheater. I suspect it is hard to get spots, we were lucky at last minute. Sites are nice and well separated.

I booked a campsite that had a pretty good slant to the parking area. Was planning on sleeping in my truck camper. Host saw this and got me into a more level site. Much appreciated!

We need more Level 2 public access EV chargers in our parks. We made it fine with ours but would love to see a lot less loud smelly diesels and gassers in such a Texas gem.
