What Guests Are Saying
Molly Brown Campground offers a stunning location with beautiful views, spacious and well-maintained sites, and easy access to Turquoise Lake, making it a favorite for many campers. The hosts are attentive, keeping the facilities clean and providing helpful recommendations for local activities. However, the lack of potable water and occasional issues with restroom cleanliness have been noted by some visitors, but overall, the campground is highly recommended for its serene environment and outdoor opportunities.

Camping at Molly brown campgrounds was a wonderful camping experience. Our site was very clean, bathrooms were surprisingly very very clean, Unlike many other camp ground’s we’ve been too. Definitely bring your kayaks! Great Lake to float around on!

Great campsite! lots of space in each lot. Tons of firewood for sale by the restroom. Restrooms were clean throughout our stay. And the best part is you are right on a beautiful lake. Would definitely recommend to friends, and I plan to come back soon!

We had the perfect spot, finally!!! So hard to get those waterfront spots. Perfect for lake days, easy access to the bike trails, and it was perfect weather!!

Surrounded by inconsiderate dog owners who allowed nuisance barking from shortly after 6 AM until around 10 PM. Dogs were left in camp to bark while owners left for the day.

Frustrated about rules for vehicles posted on. Rec.gov are not those the company running the actual campsite will be using. Despite having 2 vehicles fitting in the site without issue. Camp Host Andy enforced a “rule” that if both vehicles could provide a sleep to the driver it’s consider an RV. No supportive documentation could be provided from either rec.gov or the camp host. Being put in a bind to then pay for another site at 7:30 at night despite being in the site since check in and camp host driving past with no discussion. Feeling bullied to have to pay additional fees to enjoy the area or being forced to leave. This “rule” wasn’t applied to any of the other campers with similar vehicles. Will not be returning in the future. Especially after reaching out for clarification and being told Rec.gov cannot speak to the contracted employees they hire. Despite this being a representation of their business model. Overall disappointed that it’s all about getting paid and not the customer experiencing the amazing outdoors that Colorado has to offer.
