What Guests Are Saying
Molly Brown campground is praised for its beautiful location, spacious sites, and excellent amenities, such as clean restrooms and attentive hosts. Campers appreciate the stunning sunsets, proximity to hiking trails, and activities like paddleboarding and biking. However, a recurring concern is the lack of potable water, which requires guests to bring their own supplies.

Had a great site! And the lake is beautiful! This was the second year in a row that there was no water at campsite. Hopefully they can get the system fixed. To reserve our site I got up early six months before and even then there was a limited amount of sites available. I found out that a lot of people book a whole week ahead and book a total of 14 nights. Then after a length of time the modify the reservation to only the last seven days (eliminating the first seven days). I was disappointed to find out that this was a common practice. The sad thing it doesn’t allow everyone an even shot at camping. And when people book the first seven days and don’t modify until a later date it eliminates others using those first seven days. Maybe a policy to discourage this practice if some modifies and eliminate dates on the front end of their reservation —they should lose 50% of those first seven days. The only way they could get a full refund is to cancel the entire trip. And start all over!! Your rangers do a great job of monitoring the campgrounds!!!

Amazing spot!! Right next to the water, clean restrooms and trash close by as well. Spacious and quiet, with good tree cover.

Nothing too special or terrible about this site. Close enough to the lake. Small stagnant body of water 20m away allowed for skeeters. I’d go back.

Absolutely gorgeous location and this particular site was great - just off the lake with an easy path to get there, and next to (but not downwind of) the bathrooms. The whole campground was incredibly clean, including the vault toilets, and the camp hosts (Drew and his wife, I didn't catch her name) were super friendly and helpful. There was a good bit of privacy between sites as well. We did encounter a TON of mayflies, which don't sting or bite but are attracted to light, so bring a bug fogger if you don't feel like dealing with them. Also, this particular site was shaded for most of the day but in full sun from about 1PM-4PM each day, so consider that if you want to be in your tent at that point. I can't wait to go back to Turquoise Lake as soon as possible!!
