What Guests Are Saying
Jackrabbit Mountain is a beautiful campground with scenic lake views and well-maintained hiking and biking trails. Many campers appreciate the clean bathrooms and spacious, private campsites, making it a great spot for families and nature enthusiasts. While some facilities could use improvement, such as the bathroom hooks and the absence of firewood for sale, the overall experience remains positive, with friendly hosts and a peaceful atmosphere.

Beautiful campground! Bathrooms/Showers clean and stocked daily. Our tent site was beside the water with a gorgeous view of the lake. Thoughly enjoyed our stay, even with a rainy day. We will certainly plan to camp here again!!

Loved the site. Hosts were very accommodating and polite. Watch your step, some sites had steps and if you weren’t watching; kaboom. Other campers were respectful of quiet time.

Love Jack Rabbit and will continue to reserve! Please take in to consideration that Loop C is a bit rugged and woodsy. Most of the outer sites have stairs or rough paths to access, Routes to the lake are "down hill". This loop is not the best area for small children and those with disabilities.

Awesome. Wish they had stickers. We collect them on the back of our camper.

What a great spot. Loops A and B have more lakefront sites with actual lake access. Loop C is really just view as you’re well above. Campsites similar to what you would find at a major National park - you can see your neighbors, they’re usually friendly, and most have a gravel tent pad, a fire ring with grate, a picnic table, and a bear hook. This pregnant lady enjoyed the flush toilets.
The only critique would be I wish there was a good online map of the trails! I enjoyed the walking path while my husband did part of the biking.
